Denise grew up in Silicon Valley and has been a pet lover since childhood. As a child in San Jose she raised chickens, ducks, guinea pigs and rabbits in her family's backyard. Her contractor dad created homemade cages for each of her menageries. Indoors, she was also responsible for multiple hamsters over the years and has fond memories of their many escapes inside her family’s home.

In first grade, Denise graduated to caring for her family Golden Retriever rescue, Mikamu, and a second Golden rescue, Fosbury, alongside her three younger siblings as the O'Brien family grew. In the 70s, you could see their golden retrievers running alongside with Denise each morning as she biked along her San Jose Mercury News paper route.

Decades later while raising her three children in Southern California (now Silicon Beach), she of course to bring another Golden Retriever into the family, Sierra. As Denise welcomed her children into her family, Sierra also welcomed six puppies.

Denise has years of pet and house sitting experience, local references from over 150 sitting client families, and a TRUE LOVE for dogs!!

Due to client demand in Silicon Valley & Silicon Beach, Denise has inspired her children, mother, family and friends to join her capable and always-in-demand Silicon Valley Watch Dogs Team, with her son even creating our website!
